My experience in total system design however goes back many years having worked for a system development company that had a considerable customer base. What I learned, in all these years, is that customers and users want products that bring their intended points across, are attractive and are easy to navigate.  Whistles and bells may be nice but often they are more of a detriment than an asset. Did you ever access a website and had to wait a minute or so for a Flash intro to load?

When I design a site, I put myself in the end user's shoes.
